Key Responsibilities:
· Cost Planning and Estimation: Develop detailed cost estimates and budgets for MEP systems based on project design and specifications.
· Quantity Takeoff: Perform accurate and comprehensive quantity takeoffs for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
· Tender Documentation: Prepare detailed bills of quantities (BOQ) and tender documentation for the tendering process.
· Contractor Evaluation: Assist in evaluating and selecting contractors and suppliers by analyzing submitted tenders against project requirements and budgets.
· Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and incorporate them into cost estimates and tender documents.
· Collaboration: Work closely with the design team to ensure all MEP requirements are clearly defined and met.
· Well experienced in tender document preparation review and process with excellent quantity survey background.
Qualifications:
· Electrical Engineer Degree (Required)
· A minimum of 3-4 years of Estimator Electromechanical experience in the UAE
· Knowledge in the fit-out industry (including joinery and MEP) is a must.
