Job Responsibilities:
● Create detailed MEP drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, using AutoCAD or other relevant drafting software.
● Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and incorporate design changes as needed.
● Ensure that drawings adhere to project specifications, industry standards, and local building codes.
● Proficiency in HVAC works, duct sizing and ESP calculations.
● Coordinate MEP drawings with architectural and structural plans to ensure seamless integration.
● Communicate effectively with other drafting team members to maintain consistency and accuracy across all drawings.
● Keep track of revisions and updates to MEP drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
● Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation related to MEP drawings.
● Conduct self-reviews and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of MEP drawings.
● Assist in the identification and resolution of any discrepancies or issues in the drawings.
Qualifications:
● Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering, or related field.
● Proven experience as an MEP Draftsman with a focus on creating detailed and accurate drawings.
● Proficiency in AutoCAD or other relevant drafting software.
● Strong understanding of MEP systems and their integration into building designs.
● Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings within specified deadlines.
● Effective communication skills to collaborate with engineering and design teams.
The candidate must submit a sample/portfolio and the candidate should be in the UAE.
